Maple Elementary School
Maple Elementary is located on Beacon Hill in Seattle, Washington. We are an award-winning, open concept school where teachers team and share with one another and students in open and visible spaces. A very caring and highly skilled staff serves our diverse student population. We at Maple hold fast to the belief that all children can reach district standards and will learn in an environment that is positive, safe and productive.

2014 School of Distinction Award
Maple School is one of Washington’s Highest Improving Schools honored with the 2014 School of Distinction Award for 5-year improvement in Reading and Math.
2012 Washington Achievement Award
Maple Elementary is the recipient of the 2012 Washington Achievement Awards in the categories of Overall Excellence, and Science. The awards, now in their fourth year, are sponsored by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the State Board of Education. It is recognized as the state’s highest honor. Congratulations Maple Monarchs!
2011 Washington Achievement Award
We are THRILLED to report that Maple is a recipient of the 2011 Washington Achievement Award.
This is an extraordinary accomplishment and is a direct reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the support and guidance of our parents.
Maple’s award is well deserved. In the past years, Maple has implemented several improvements that have impacted our students’ success.
2006 Blue Ribbon School
Maple Elementary School was one of nine Blue Ribbon Schools in Washington state in 2006! The Blue Ribbons Schools award is a national award from the Department of Education. It honors public and private K-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement.
